How many different types of neurons and nerves are there in the human body?
there are 3 different types. the sensory neuron that picks up the evironmental stimulus and sends the nerve impulse . the second is the internuron which is only located in the central nervous system (or in other words, spinal chord) it picks up transmissions from sensory neurons and transmits them to motor neurons (the third type) to cause your muscles to pull your arm let’s say, away from hot stove burner using the reflex arc (bypasses the brain and is an uncontrolled reflex to help you save yourself from as much damage as possible) nerves are a bunch of neurons that are inter-connected.
