How many Doctors are volunteering to work at the clinic?
There are about 40 doctors involved at the clinic. Many are retired, but there are a number of doctors who are still actively practicing in the local community. Q: Do I need to see a CHFC doctor to participate in the Drug Assistance Program. A: Yes. To sign up for the Drug Assistance Program, a patient must see a CHFC doctor and the desired Rx drugs must be approved by that doctor. Note: Even if an outside doctor has already prescribed a medication for you, the CHFC doctor must still see you before any drugs may be ordered by the Drug Assistance Program.
