A maximum of 20 percent of the graduate credit hours appearing on the program of study (rounded up) may be transferred from a recognized graduate school for a master’s degree at UMKC. When attempting to transfer graduate coursework, a copy of the course syllabus to include course description and course objectives must be submitted for each course at the time of application. The courses will be reviewed and equivalence will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Specific information about transfer credits can be found on the UMKC School of Nursing Web site.
