As an open standard, WAP Push supports all WAP 1.2.1 handsets. Openwave Browser version 5 and above provide full support of WAP Push. Openwave has also ensured backward compatibility with our previous implementation of push, called UPNotify or Web Alerts, providing access to millions of existing handsets that have Openwave browser 2.x and above. In addition, many non-Openwave Devices currently shipping support WAP Push, including (but not limited to) the Ecrisson T68, T68i, T39, etc?
