How many hours each day can the bus driver drive the bus ?

Federal law states that each driver may only be on duty 15 hours each day and of those hours he or she can operate the bus a maximum of 10 hours. After this 15 hours is up, your driver will need to be off for 8 hours with travel time in-between. If you have a L-O-N-G itinerary and wish to drive more than 500 miles each day, two drivers may be required. Please consult with our charter department regarding this. more
