How many key frames are extracted from a 1-hour long video and what is the file size?
A key frame is an image representing an interval between scenes. Therefore the number of scene changes determine the number of key frames. In general a 1-hour long video produces about 500 key frames, and an action film produces more key frames while a documentary film does less. Key frames are used to search images and structure storyboard. Each key frame is stored as a 15 Kbytes JPEG file in the KONAN Contents Manager.
