How many medium sized goldfish can a 95 litre tank hold?
Why are you asking about medium sized goldfish? When you plan a tank, you need to stock it, with the adult sizes of your fish in mind, otherwise you’ll have problems. A 95l/25g tank is large enough for one fancy goldfish, as long as it’s overfiltered, however goldfish are very social, playful fish, they don’t generally do well on their own. Either upgrade to a 150l tank and get two fancy goldfish, or don’t get them at all. Common or “pond” goldfish such as the comets and shubunkins are not suitable for a tank that small. Edit: Please disregard the comments about the “rule” of 1″ of fish per every gallon of water. That is a myth, it hardly ever works, and it’s not a rule for beginners.
