How many people died because of the living conditions in the trenches of World War 1?
During World War One, soldier were forced to live in muddy, foul, rat infested, trenches. It was an influenza breeding ground becuase of the poor living conditions. Although there is no exact statistic of exact deaths by poor living conditions, one can imagine that the living conditions killed more than the bullet.
