Benson, 23, ran the race in a blazing 2:46.17, just under 40 minutes slower than the men’s winning time. Benson’s performance was good for 313th overall place, and his time averaged out to a 6:21 mile pace. Wendy Nelson was the next fastest finisher from Foxboro and put in the best time for a woman in the area with a time of 3:43.42, which put her in 2,242nd place in her division. At 38 years old Nelson ran at a 8:32 mile pace. Diana Thompson and Paula Kelly each performed remarkably in their age division, finishing in 595th and 831st places respectively.
