How many share owners are their in the Farmers Ditch Company?
As of February 2002, there were 166 shareholders on record. The original stock ledger ( a crusty old book from the 1800’s ) is open for perusal at the scheduled public shareholder’s business meeting (by shareholders only upon request). Remember, its not the number of share holders that is relevant, but which share holders have the largest percentage and how do they vote. Voting is democratic with majority rule. The City of Boulder has a 75% majority.
