There are three models of the Panasonic ShowStopper Hard Disk Recorder (PV-HS1000, PV-HS2000, & PV-HS3000) consisting of 20 hours, 30 hours, and 60 hours of hard disk space (in extended record mode). It is not designed to be a long-term storage device and constantly recycles storage space as new shows are recorded. It does give you the option to preserve a show and make sure it isn’t replaced by the next recording. If you record something you want to save, you can easily save it to videotape.
