Other than the original thirteen colonies (Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts Bay, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, and Rhode Island) there was the addition of Vermont (which had been part of New York, then its own country called Vermont), Kentucky (part of Virginia), and Tennessee (part of North Carolina). Keep in mind, at this time Maine was still part of Massachusetts Bay (later separated into Massachusetts and Maine), and West Virginia was still part of Virginia.
