Goodwin noticed her gazes at the children, who were playing on the beach. Nathan “disappeared” for two hours into the jungle, and great suspicion was seen in Ana’s eyes when he returned. That night, the remaining survivors slept around a roaring fire when the “Others” (at least three sets of stocky, straggly-dressed legs and bare feet) were seen standing before the group. Nine were dragged away– some screaming, some unconscious– during the second sabotage. Among them the names “Jim” and “Nancy” are distinguished, as well as the two children.
