How Many Times Did Former Inter Milan Footballer Paul Ince Play For England?
Born in Ilford, London in October nineteen sixty seven, Paul Emerson Carlyle Ince represented England on fifty three ocassions in an international career that spanned eight years and featured two international goals. Ince made his debut for the national side in nineteen ninety two and went on to play in two major tournaments for ENgland; the first in the world cup of nineteen ninety eight, held in France and the secon the two thousand European championships. It was after the latter that the ageing Ince announced his retirement from the international game. Ince enjoyed a distinguished playing career that took in three of Europes biggest clubs, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Liverpool. His transfer to Manchester United from West Ham, Ince’s forst club made headlines for all the wrong reasons. At the time, with Ince still a West Ham player, he allowed himself to be photogrtaphed wearing a manchester United shirt; to this day the Upton Park faithful haven’t forgiven him.
