I do not believe that the term archangel occurs in the Bible, but I could be wrong. But I’m easy on this subject. Maybe there are archangels. If there are, then there are three classes of angels: Archangels — messengers and ministers of God sent to handle particularly important tasks and messages. Seraphim — powerful angels who minister to human needs when the occasion demands, though not necessarily obviously. Cherubim — frequently connected with children, these angels could be considered people who simply haven’t been born yet. Think I’m full of hot air? There are Seraphim, as you already stated, and Cherubim, kind of lesser Angels. edit; There are also “Hells Angels”, but they are not the same thing at all.
