How much better did the line get when Chris Williams moved from right tackle to left tackle?
MT: Chris was not glaringly better at left tackle as far as twice as good, but he was definitely better at left tackle. He looked much more in sync and in rhythm. He looked more comfortable. LM: Moving forward, how confident are you that the line will perform at a high level this season? MT: The line will perform at a high level because they’ve put the work in. They had an outstanding offseason. They accepted coaching extremely well. They’ve worked hard and they’ve listened. They’re a smart group, so they’ve been able to make adjustments in their technique. They’ve picked up the system extremely well. We have about everything in it and they’ve done about everything. We approached some of the practices as if they were games, carrying 20-plus protections.
