How much difference is there in performance between the Ping G” G5 and G10 drivers – ?
A lot of people would say that the G2 was Ping’s first good, modern driver. The G2 was an important club for Ping – in its day it was a watershed moment for them, but they have improved on it at various stages, hence the G5, through to G10. The G5 is quite similar to its ancestor but the internal weighting was redistributed for a lower centre of gravity. The G10 improves on the G5 with a new precision engineered face, re-designed body, and up-to-date shaft technology. The biggest difference between them all is the playability. Yes, there are going to be distance increases between each incarnation, but the major design emphasis has been on making the clubs more easy to hit consistently.
