User reviews are good, and they carry trees. First source below is review for this nursery. It’s the last of its kind in an area noted for Japanese culture. San Gabriel Nursery & Florist may also carry the tree. They’re at 632 S. San Gabriel Blvd., San Gabriel, tel. (626) 286-3782. As I wasn’t able to find a price through the sites above, I searched a Nebraska company. A Japanese flowering cherry can be purchased for less than $30, plus shipping.
