How much do people lie at high school reunions?
Most of the time, the 10 year reunion is the one where a lot of insecure and immature people take the opportunity to lie. People want to come back and impress everyone with how well they have done and how cool they turned out. Some people are never willing to admit the truth when they are immature and haven’t achieved all they thought they should. I dressed up to the nines, thanks to my older sister, and other than that, I just told the truth, tried to be myself and to be tolerant of the fact that not everyone is secure about themselves. The best part is going back at the 20 year reunion and having everyone tell about how life truly did catch up to them. Remember, some people will be immature and lie for the rest of their lives, so avoid them when you find this to be the case. Enjoy the reunion and just be yourself. Reunions aren’t about who did what. They are about gathering and reminiscing.
