How much does a licence cost?
They vary. Instant Licences (FfE, U, S and P) are free. If the licence is a mediated licence the owner (Licensor) of the licence will set the price, based upon a range of criteria. Licence and royalty fees are only possible under the C and E licence regimes. Licences for innovative and extensive materials for example, will naturally cost more than minimal support materials. Some licences are even priced on application, in which case the Licensor will negotiate with you on the final cost.
