The cost provides for supplies such as transcript paper, envelopes, postage, and supports staff responsible for processing your transcript request. It also helps support the technical aspects of the transcript systems, as well as other key student services enhancements. Effective May 19, 2008 charges are as follows: • Transcripts – $13 per copy. • Early or Partial Transcripts – $25 for the first copy and $13 for each additional copy from the same college ordered at the same time. • Faxed Transcripts – $20 A fax is not official, and this includes an official transcript mailed at the same time. • Domestic Fed Ex – Next Business Day – $15 plus the $13 per copy transcript fee. • International Fed Ex – International Priority – The amount the UI is assessed for the service plus the $13 per copy transcript fee. If you order your transcript in person or by mail there is a $7.00 fee (per copy) for student copies of transcripts and those sent to agencies and institutions that are outside of CUNY. There is NO fee for transcripts sent to the University Application Processing Center (UAPC) or to another CUNY college. When you pay your annual ASHA CE Registry fee, you will be credited with an electronic voucher for a free transcript. Vouchers are valid for 5 years from issue date. When you make a transcript request, your oldest voucher is used. Additional transcripts are $15 each/members and $20 each/non-members. • When/where are transcripts sent? Transcripts are printed upon your request and forwarded to you. Transcripts can also be sent to a 3rd party, such as licensing or certification agencies. 3rd party requests must be in writing (use the online form or fax your request to 301-296-8574). • How are transcripts sent? Cost of a Transcript You are entitled to 10 free copies of your transcript each year. If you surpass the 10 copies, each copy would be at a cost of $5.00. You can view your grades on-line through student self service by clicking here.

Attorneys pay court reporters $3.15 per page for an original transcript. Copies cost $0.50 per page. The first party to file a Petition for Review is liable for the cost of the original transcript. Exhibits cost $0.50 per page for the 1-50 pages, $0.40 per page for 51-100 pages, $0.30 per page for 101-200 pages, and $0.20 per page for over 200 pages. Court reporters are to issue regular transcripts within 60 days after the date the Petition for Review was filed; transcripts for fatal, PTD, and 19(b) cases are due within 30 days; transcripts for 19(b-1) cases are due within 25 days. If a transcript is late, please contact the Supervisor of Court Reporters, Linda Freeman (312/814-5781). Once a party orders a transcript, it is obligated to pay the court reporter, even if the case is settled and the transcript is no longer required. Payment is due within 30 days of the court reporter’s written request for payment.
