E-ZPass does not cost any more than what customers would normally pay for tolls. However, customers are required to set up a prepaid account of at least $35, from which the cost of tolls will be deducted. A $25 security deposit is waived when customers enroll in the program with a credit card and choose the automatic replenishment option.
