How much does glossy paper cost?
On the average, paper materials make up about 1/3 of the average cost of printing. The cost of paper can vary considerably. Heres an example, 20# bond/offset may cost $20.00 per thousand, while 80# gloss may cost $60.00 per thousand for the same size. Buying quantities can make a significant difference in large orders, however, in small orders of 1000 or less, the savings is hardly noticable.
