If its actually at the courthouse, a judge can certify the marriage for about $10. I had a judge actually come to my wedding, and we paid him $50 for his time, but that was only a gift to him. He usually preforms the “ceremony” for $10. Other than your own clergy, they are the cheapest officiants. My JOP wedding was great, the vow part only took five minutes and we didn’t have to listen to any religious dogma. Remember it costs less than $50 most places to have a marriage that is just as legal as the marriage of people who spend a thousand times as much.
