To have Amalgam Fillings removed and replaced with Amalgam on the NHS will cost you £44.60 this fee also covers your check up fee. This is a set fee and will cost you the same for 1 filling or 5 fillings. However if you have the amalgams removed and have White fillings this will cost you more as these are not available under the nhs and you would have to pay from them on a private basis, fee wise will vary as each dentist will charge their own fee.
