What you want done is to basically rehab your entire pool…. Doing so, in the type of rehab you want could cause you problems later. You are going to have new construction with old. So you may be prone to leaks and other problem areas when the pool settles in the future. Depending also on your location of your equipment and the plumbing work under the deck and ground, you could have to rip up deck work as well.. Even if you do put a wall across to make the pool smaller, you are now going to have to remove concrete decking, partially demolish the old section
