How much does it cost to take the State of Florida CNA Exam?
The State CNA certification exam is administered through Prometric. Your test fee will total $161.25 or $164.25 with use of the audio headsets. These fees include FBI background screening (as required by Florida Board of Nursing), your clinical skills test, and the written portion of your exam.Once you submit your application to Prometric, you will receive a “fingerprint authorization” letter in the mail. Fingerprinting is required to enable the Florida Board of Nursing to obtain an FBI criminal background check to approve your eligibility for state testing. The cost for fingerprinting is an additional $15.00. Once the Board of Nursing informs Prometric that you are eligible for testing, you will receive a letter by mail with your scheduled test date and regional test site location.
