A. The cost varies according to several factors, including purity of the drug, the region in which it is sold, the source of the drug (local product vs. imported) and availability of the drug. According to Addiction No More the following is true: one ounce of meth = 110 hits. It costs $100 to make an ounce and has a street value of $800 an ounce. Different markets and different levels of purity will drive the price just like anything else. According to the local WEMET guys, the average hit is one gram at a home made value of about $1.78 because there are 28 grams in an ounce and an ounce can be made for about $50. more
