How much garlic do I feed my dog to get rid of fleas and how long will take before I notice a diifference?
YIKES!!! There’s been a good bit of what I would consider to be either MISINFORMATION or Less than Optimum offered on THIS question. GARLIC…While a little garlic (say in something you had to eat that you are allowing your dog to have a bite or bit of (mixed into his/her food or simply handed over) will most likely NOT hurt MOST dogs. However, the popular belief that was established during the 70’s that it’s okay to simply “free feed” sprinkle away on your dog’s daily (or even every other day) meal…has gone BYE BYE! More recent studies, by qualified researcher’s such as Purdue University of Veterinary Medicine, UC Davis and others have shown us that DOGS CAN EASILY BUILD UP TOXIC LEVELS OF GARLIC!!!! This means you can accidentally poison your dog.
