How much is pass plus?

The Pass Plus is a six hour course which most instructors charge at their normal hourly rate – that’s why it can vary between instructors. In my area at the moment, the hourly rate is about £25 per hour so the Pass Plus will be around £150. If the rate in your area is around £20 per hour it’s going to total around £120 for the Pass Plus. The jury’s out on whether or not it’s worth it. Personally I think the motorway lesson is a must for all new drivers but lessons such as ‘driving in the dark’ or ‘bad weather’ can only be taught properly if you are lucky enough to experience those during your lesson – that can be difficult in the summer which means all you can do is talk about it – hardly satisfactory! If you get a substantial insurance discount, then go for it. If not but you want to brush up your skills as a new driver (VERY worthwhile), just take them as individual lessons when you can afford them. Either way, pleeeeeeease take a motorway lesson before venturing out on one!
