The city’s single stream recycling project Manager, Tom McMurtrie, has said that the curb-side recycling program will no longer collect engine oil, batteries or florescent lights. Citizens can still drop these off at the recycle center, but there is a $3 charge for each vehicle entering the center as well as a fee for taking these hazardous materials.
