How much leave does an employee accrue?
Employees working full-time work schedules earn: ∙ 4 hours of sick leave each pay period They also earn annual leave (AL) of either 4, 6, or 8 hours, dependent upon their leave category determined by their service computation date. ∙ Up to 3 years of service – 4 hours of Al each pay period ∙ 3 to 15 years of service – 6 hours of AL each pay period and (an extra 4 hours added at the end of each year) ∙ 15 or more years of service – 8 hours of AL each pay period Employees working part-time schedules earn leave prorated on the above entitlements.
