How Much Mental Anguish Can a Trip Win Cost? Thursday July 3, 2008 It can be disappointing to win a prize and not have it shape up to what the description sounds like. I think that everyone who sweeps stumbles across a dud of a prize or a sponsor that hasn’t stuck to the letter of the rules perfectly, sooner or later. And don’t forget that “right to substitute for equal or greater value” phrase in most of the rules, which can sometimes be a disappointment. One of my readers recently experienced a heartbreaking disappointment when a vacation prize was withdrawn because of a technicality on the entry form.
