If you mean as a researcher, then your pay will depend on the grants that you get. But scientists usually have a more modest lifestyle, of anywhere from 40 to 80 k starting salary, which is about 4000 to 7000 per month and they rarely go above 200 k max. But of course, doctors get paid more because they do have at least 12 years of education to go through, as well as internships and residencies before they get to actually earn their title as doctors.
