How much money does a veterinarian make?
When it comes to education vs pay, vets are at the low end of the scale. Most people with that amount of education make a lot more money than your vet does. As with everything, there are exceptions. There are vets who are in specialties that make more and some that work in small practices that might make even less, but for the most part, don’t be a vet if you’re in it for the money, because … it just really isn’t there.
