How much money does an oil rig worker earn?
I can only for what roughnecks make in the US, on land rigs. Salary goes from $8.00 for roustabouts up to twice that for some companies. A driller, who has years of experience may make $7000 for two weeks of constant work and a roughneck on the rig crew can expect to make from $12 to $35 per hour plus overtime. Overtime is a big part of pay.
