How much money is available for cities and counties ineligible for direct grants?
AIdaho has received an allocation of $9,593,500. Each state must pass no less than 60% of its allocation on to cities and counties within the state that are not eligible for direct formula grants from the DOE. In Idaho, approximately $5,756,100 is available for competitive grants. The Office of Energy Resources (OER) will work with the Idaho Association of Counties and the Association of Idaho Cities to select projects for competitive block grants.
