How much money should I charge for tutoring?
I have hired tutors for my daughter who was 6 yrs old at the time. I payed a certified teacher 25 US dollars (about 30 Aus. dollars) for an hour. Since you are still a student, and hopefully a good one, I think you’re in the right ballpark. Make sure you have some ideas for a plan of action for tutoring, like how to get the child excited and engaged and what would be appropriate material for the age range. My daughter’s teachers were more than willing to talk to the tutor and provide materials to help in the instructions. My brother is a professional tutor with a learning center and he loves it.
