It’s an integral part of who we are. We’ve always believed that creation and art are simply interpretations and appropriations of the past, of other people’s work, like everything is in a constant flux so the matter changes and moves but is all related and connected. I think we’re interested in fragmented identities and forms that go in many different directions, very schizophrenic; we all bring very different elements to the mix and we like to keep that, we like to encourage that multiplicity of references. It’s in this plurality that the individual references, or influences, disappear and something complex springs out of it – not necessarily something new, but some strange brew of sorts. Like everybody’s input alters the other’s and you end up getting somewhere without knowing how you got there. Is that an intention you had for the record?
