How much pressure does it take to actuate the Spray Smart Valve?
The Spray Smart valve requires a minimum of 20 psi when the system is fully pressurized (i.e. after the hissing and popping of the air being forced out). This is about as low as any sprinkler should ever be operated to get a proper spray pattern. If your system is presently running below 20 psi, fixing leaks (you probably have a few) and/or adjusting your spray heads can usually allow the spray smart valves to work properly.
