How much should I pay to get an emergency hot water heater installed?

I assume you are referring to having a water heater installed, because of an emergency. This could mean an after normal working hours service call. If this is the case, I would suggest that if this happens, you should be familiar enough with your water heater, to know how to turn off the water. If the water heater develops a leak, it will usually happen after midnight, and before 5am. The reason for this is that water pressure builds up the most, during this time period, because very few people are using water, if any. By knowing how to turn off the water valve, located on the inlet supply side of the water heater, you can now go back to bed, and call a plumber during normal business hours. If you are sleeping, you don’t need any hot water, and can wait for morning. Why would you want to install the heater at night, and pay the inflated service call? If you called me during the night, I would talk you through the process of turning the water off, and then I would tell you to call back
