How much should it cost to replace a thermostat on a car…roughly? :)?
It would help to know the year, make & model. There are a few cars where the thermostat is hidden behind an exhaust manifold going across the back of the engine where the thermostat is located. The 3.4L V6 comes to mind and I also think the 3.1 V6. Also on some vans it takes longer so throwing out these low numbers may give you an unwanted surprise when you finally get a true estimate. Also these estimates being provided is not taking into account that someone has to drain some coolant or most of it and it is usually a good time to get a flush.
