How much slots play gets you free Borgata room?
It not necessarily how much you invest, but what denomination slot you play and how long you play it. It takes a lot of play to get room offers for weekends. I can tell you right now $100 is not even close. Other people may be able to post actual results, but the standard estimate for weekend rooms is at least a few sessions of $1 (max bet of $2/$3) slots for 4 hours each session. Since the house edge on video poker is less then slots, it may take even more play to earn comps with video poker then slots. Last time I played outside the poker room at Borgata, I played 4 hours of $5 Let It Ride (lost $225) and 3 hours of $.25 5-coin video poker (lost $100) in one day, and I did not even receive mid-week room offers for my efforts.
