How much the TV Channels are instrumental in spreading the message of Islam?
PMMR: Media is being used for the glory of impudence and malice. Media is out of control of our circle, so we can neither close our eyes nor go against the media. Currently TV channels are not playing any active role in spreading the true message of Islam. We must have to use media not only to popularize and preach Islam but also to counter of propaganda against Islam. Most of the international TV channels are in the hands of enemies of Islam and they use it in a way they want. I have visited many countries including China, the USA and the UK. No other country experiences the level of freedom of media, which we enjoy here. In our country, the cable TV is the main source of distribution of impudence and nastiness to every house. In Europe only four or five TV channels are free, for the rest you have to pay. But in Pakistan people are getting addicted as they have unlimited number of channels which are good for nothing.
