How much time should I spend in Tropical North Queensland?
As you have discovered in our Holiday Planner, there are so many places to see in our region, and so many new adventures to experience. Two weeks or 10 days will give you enough time to tour the area and see all the main highlights. We recommend allocating 5 or 6 nights in a primary holiday base – Cairns, the Cairns Beaches or Port Douglas, for example, then spending 1 or 2 overnights at Cape Tribulation, the Tropical Tablelands, Mission Beach, Cape York or the Gulf Savannah region.
