How much wider are Sill-Masters sills than the window?

0

Sill-Masters Premium sills are sized to be four to six inches wider than typical window widths. Keep in mind that drywall added to the jambs decreases the size of the window opening. For instance, a four-foot wide window will often have a finished opening width of 46-47 inches. See Premium Sills measuring instructions for details. Sill-Masters Standard sills are meant to be cut flush to the width of the window opening and not extend past the jamb. See Standard Sills measuring instructions for details.
