CWT will pay $700 for each bred heifer it accepts in the program. Although dairies will have a wide range of bred heifers – from recently bred to springers – it is programmatically impossible for CWT to establish different prices for heifers at different stages.

CWT will pay one set price for every bred heifer it accepts in the program. That price will be announced when the Herd Retirement program is announced.
