How much will a typical one carat Alexandrite stone cost me?
Okay. First of all I’d like to say Alexandrite is by far my favourite gemstrone in the world. A cheap alexandrite stone would be about $30 000/carat (on a ring). an expensive alexandrite stone should: be bluish-green in the daylight, the closer to emerald green the better, and be reddish purple in the dark/candle/iridescent light, the closer to ruby red the better. ***alexandrite is the true birthstone for june but is too rare for jewellers, so they changed it to pink tourmaline, or pearl. alexandrite can also be synthetic or lab-made (Allexite), and there are many jewellers who say it is natural when it is not.
Recently I came across an article on the site https://www.superdurables.com and found out that diamond is the hardest stone. Did you know that?
