How Much Will My Dachshund/chihuahua Weigh When She Is Full Grown?
It depends on whether she is a mix of miniature’s of both species, or of a standard sized dachshund and a chihuahua. A full grown standard dachshund averages 16 lb to 28 lb while the miniature variety weighs less than 11 lb. The kaninchen weighs 8 lb. The height is under 10 inches to 15 inches. The chihuahua does not have such standardization in sizes though, the height varies between 6 and 10 inches. Some will grow as tall as 12 or 15 inches. Standards do state that it must weigh no more than 6 lb but some dogs weigh up to 10 lb. I’d assume that your puppy is going to be no taller than 10 inches, and no heavier than 10 lb, of course, if she is more dachshund than chihuahua, she will be bigger and heavier.
