How much will rebuilding the Fay Hut cost, and where is the funding coming from?
The estimated cost of rebuilding the Fay Hut is $240,000. Building with logs at a remote location requires careful planning, extensive logistics, and adequate funds; helicopter costs will be approximately one-third of the budget. The contribution of volunteers for planning, designing, and on-site construction is projected to be 6000 hours, at an estimated value of $150,000. Rebuilding the Fay Hut is made possible through generous donations from ACC members; the ACC has also submitted a number of grant applications.
